JOB SUMMARY Job: Janitorial / maintenance Location: Maui/Kauai Hours: vary (based on customer) Starting Pay: $18.00/hr. Pay: Bi-weekly Job Specification Details: Summary: Responsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Sweep and mop floors, empties trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans. Primary responsibilities: 1. Sweep and mop floors. 2. Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping and cleaning surfaces. 3. Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. 4. Wash rugs 5. Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces. 6. Mix various cleaning agents. 7. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. 8. Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean. Desired Skills & Experience: experience in using floor buffer, auto scrubber, mop/bucket, wet/dry/vac, etc. Prior cleaning experience in building maintenance is preferred but not required
