eDesign Group is Maui's leading home electronic systems integration company, designing and installing state of the art home theater, whole house audio, lighting control, motorized shading and home networking and is looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager/Purchaser. The Warehouse Assistant Will Assist the Warehouse Manager With the Following Tasks as Needed: Purchasing: • Create Purchase Orders in iPoint and Submit to Appropriate Vendors. • Attach Vendor Invoice to Packing Slip, Check for Accuracy, and Turn In. • Obtain Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) For Defective and Unneeded Products • Notify Warehouse Manager of Any Back Orders and Report Staging Status for Weekly Jobs-In-Progress Meeting and General Scheduling. • Create and Email Daily IR (Inventory Received) Report to Operations. • Negotiate Best Pricing with Vendors and Logistics Providers. • Inquire on Promotional Discounts and Rebate/Commission Programs. • Establish Favorable Freight Policies with All Vendors. • Establish Alternate Vendors for General Materials. Inventory Control/Warehouse: • Maintain Control of Inventory Through the Use of Packing Slips and Estimates in iPoint. • Stage Products & Materials for Project Installations. • Receive Product Against Vendor Packing Slip. • Ship Defective Products for Repair. • Upon Completion of Repair, Notify Responsible Party of Applicable Charges. • Maintain Organized and Clean Warehouse. • Maintain “On Hand” Inventory Levels. • Facilitate Semi-Annual Inventory Counts. • Pick Up TVs At Costco or Other Retail Stores When Necessary. • Deliver “Emergency” Stock/Parts to Field Techs When Needed. • Disposal/E-Cycling of Dead & Defective Product. • Processing and Sale of Used (But Functional) Product Through Various Channels. • Maintain Inventory of Company Provided Tools (Maintenance, Engraving, Etc.). General: • Maintain New Pricing and Product Information In iPoint. • Continually Update Price Comparisons on Products. • Answer Phones. • Troubleshoot Customer Product Issues Over the Phone. • Complete Daily Time Sheet. • Assist at Job Sites as Necessary. • Perpetually Keep Hallways Clear of Shipments, Boxes, Etc. • Schedule, Pickup and Drop Off Company Vehicles for Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance. Requirements: • Warehouse Experience Preferred but Not Necessary. Willing to Train the Right Candidate. • High School Degree or Equivalent. • Valid Driver's License. • Able To Pass Drug Test/Background Check. • Physically Able to Stand, Sit, Move, Squat, Walk, and Climb During the Course of The Day. • Physically Able to Lift Up to 50 Pounds or More. • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills. • Able To Work in a Fast-Paced Environment. • Able To Work Independently and In Groups. • Pays Attention to Detail and Monitors the Quality of Inventory. • Highly Organized and Able to Stage Items Efficiently. • Must Follow All Health and Safety Procedures and Regulations.
