If you love dogs, enjoy working independently, and take pleasure in being outdoors this is the job for you! We’re seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and committed animal lover for a dog walking position. This is a part-time position, with the potential for more hours. We are slower than usual now due to COVID but are rebuilding fast and looking for the right person to join the team! Right now we need someone Monday-Wednesday approx. 9am-11/12pm and Thursday/ Friday approx.10:30-12:30. SO VERY Part-time. Most of the walks on this route are right by 16th street and PPW and the surrounding area. So it is ideal that you live in or close to that area. Looking for a local dog lover with some handling experience. Also, opportunities for more walks and cat sits. ** Right now since it is slow we are looking for someone who ideally lives in the area. This is a fun and rewarding job, but its one that comes with huge responsibility. Candidates MUST be trustworthy, mature, and punctual. If that describes you, we would love to hear from you. You must meet the below qualifications in order to be considered for the position. • Must be vaccinated (As you will be in peoples homes and most have requested this) • Prior dog walking experience or experience working with dogs • Own an Android smartphone or iPhone. • Own and ride a bike or live very close by • Commit to the position for a minimum of one year • Provide work references and agree to a background check • Able and willing to be outdoors in all weather conditions HEAT/COLD/SNOW/RAIN • Able to walk 5+ miles and bike ride 5+ miles per day • Comfortable with all dog breeds and sizes • Cat experience a plus If you are interested in this position and meet the above qualifications please respond back with a resume cut and pasted in the body of an email or attached and answer the following questions. 1) Please describe your experience with dogs/cats? 2) What is your current schedule and days/hours of availability? 3) What neighbourhood will you be commuting from? 4) Do you have a bike that you are comfortable riding around Brooklyn, if yes, please describe your bike?
