Prog/Math Rock band needs vocalist/friend

We would love to see all folks try for this position. We are LGBTQ+ allies Black lives matter. We would just like to make that clear! Hi there! We are an established band in Portland who has been instrumental for our previous releases, but we are looking to add vocals. There are some things written for some previous songs, but being able to create lyrics and harmonies yourself is a requirement. We are looking for someone with confidence and style, uniqueness, and a similar artistic vision. Our goal is simple, be the best in the world and have massive success. Shows are set already and touring will be involved. We are also all best friends, and all became that way through this and another band. *Spooky voice* Join us We have a lot of influences, too many to list on here. If you are interested we can send a link to our Spotify and give a preview on some new things, then we will have you write some rough harmonies (nothing major) to some songs. We are open to all vocal ranges, however, for our preferred creative direction we would like to hear from female vocalists with a high register or any other higher range singers, maybe falsetto vocalists. Think Paramore, Marnie stern, Bikini Kill, Flyleaf, Coheed, Tubelord, Covet (and Yvette Young). Extra bonus if you play an instrument on top of singing. Our image is very goofy, vibrant, but also dark, mysterious and abstract. Our music style reflects this. In terms of lyrical content, someone who is familiar with progs imagery and storytelling, and also generic emo/pop-punk lyrical formulae. Oh, and lastly we are pretty "mathy" and technical, it will probably get hard, but that's what makes it fun. You will be expected to practice the same 20 seconds over and over with us until everyone has it tight. Vocalists unfortunately don't get off the hook here! Sorry for the extremely long post!
