A West Virginia College Evangelism Experience
College students! Send Network WV, in cooperation with the West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists, is hosting an exciting evangelism conference on April 1-3, 2022 in Charleston, WV. Held at Resurrection Church in the historic Capitol Theater, TELLWV will teach college students and young adults, ages 18-25, how to share the Gospel in dynamic cultures. Over the course of three days, students will:
• Learn evangelism strategies in Friday breakout sessions taught by experienced WV church leaders.
• Grow together in Friday and Saturday services led by Paul Worcester, National Director of Collegiate Evangelism for the North American Mission Board, and worship band Render the Hearts.
• Share the Gospel and serve communities in teams with local churches in the Charleston area on Saturday.
• Worship on Sunday with the church at which you served.
Registration is $15. Attendees will receive:
• A TELLWV t-shirt
• 1 meal on Friday and 2 meals on Saturday
• Evangelism resources from event speakers
• Invaluable mission experience through local churches
For those students or groups who do not live in the Charleston area, affordable lodging options are available. Free lodging is available at Cross Lanes Baptist Church (CLBC) in Cross Lanes, WV. Shower facilities are on site, and breakfast will be provided for those staying at CLBC on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Attendees will need to bring their own air mattresses. Several local hotels have rooms close to the conference site for those who do not choose to stay at CLBC.
If you have any further questions about registration or the event, please email Nathan Polk at [email protected]. We're happy to help however we can. See you in April!
