Get in. We're going to the New Spain. Spanish wine has a bad reputation. It’s known for producing wine in bulk, and has been since the decades under Franco’s dictatorship. But in the past few decades, producers have begun to turn the tide toward more sustainable, thoughtfully crafted wines, going back to old ways of making wine. This is the New Spain. In this class with Director of Education Brittany Galbraith and Director of Market Operations Dana Pellicore, you’ll learn about how Spain’s reputation went downhill, how tradition is now being resurrected, and taste from our favorite producers leading the charge. You’ll taste regional pairings, tapas style, while you learn about the food and wine culture of Spain.
