Description

Come and meet Casey Trees in your local park! Have you ever wondered who is responsible for planting and taking care of trees in DC? Do you know about a place in the District that could use more trees, but aren’t sure how to make this happen? Then stop by and chat with Casey Trees, an organization working to restore, enhance, and protect urban trees in Washington, DC! Ask us how you can get free trees for your home, school, faith group, and community, and how you can stay involved with Casey Trees through our volunteer opportunities and community events, or through signing up for our newsletter, The Leaflet. We will be hosting activities to learn tree ID basics, youth activities like tree bingo, and handing out swag to Leaflet subscribers. At this event, we'll have information on an exciting project we're working on in Langdon Park to build new walking trails, keep our rivers clean, and keep the park beautiful for all to enjoy!
