The Triple Play event (A Game to Remember, Reach for Recovery Yoga and Meditation, and the Live Your Dream Car Show), May 1, 2022 The event, at The Palisades Credit Union Park in Pomona, NY., is being held in memory of Eric Katzman, Reid Schwartz, and Bobby Hobbs, who lost their battles with substance use disorder. Funds raised will be used to support the mission of our newly independent charitable organization, and enhance our ability to carry out our ambitious agenda: to advocate for policies and practices that support a vision of recovery from addiction for all people in Rockland County and surrounding communities; ensure that information about recovery is available to those in need; to educate and inspire the public about recovery and substance use disorder and decrease the stigma attached to addiction through our personal examples and stories. EVENT SCHEDULE 9:30 am. Registration Open 10 am - 11:30 am Yoga/Meditation 10 am - 1 pm Car Show and DJ 12:30 pm Welcoming Ceremonies 1 pm - 1:30 pm. Remembrance Walk 1:30 pm - 4:30pm Softball Games 1:30 pm - 4:30pm Kids’ Activities Ticket includes: T-shirt, Food, Ice-Cream, Yoga / Meditation, Car Show, Softball Games, Remembrance Walk, and Kids’ Activities Raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Please consider making a separate donation to FOR-R when you purchase a ticket, or if you cannot attend but wish to support our effots. A $100 'In Remembrance Of' donation entitles you to have the name of your loved one on the back of the event T-shirt.
