Resilience Camp is a summer Social Emotional Learning (SEL) enrichment program for all MSDWT students entering grades K – 5. The theme for the 2022 program is “Connecting our Hearts and Brains!” For the second year in a row, we will connect with community businesses to engage in hands on learning opportunities that promote SEL skills. We will learn about self awareness, self management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision making through fun interactive experiences! Such as: engaging with live farm animals and learning about responsibility and empathy, learning how to bake/decorate cookies and utilizing problem solving and executive functioning skills, create affirmation jewelry and practice self compassion and positive self talk-and much much more! Our camp will partner with local leaders as special guests and get to make and take materials home including snack each day and t-dye t-shirt at the end of the week! Parent(s)/guardian(s) must provide daily transportation to Spring Mill Elementary School 8250 Spring Mill Rd.
