If you're interested in presenting or have questions about attending, email [email protected] About our next Thursday session (March 10th, 2022) Energy impacts our daily lives in the most fundamental of ways, and this impact is only increasing in a globalized world. Energy Transition Ventures invests in startups leading future in how the world produces and uses energy. Craig Lawrence has brought to market for companies large and small transformative energy products and services. Come ask questions, meet others in the community, and let’s all grow faster and stronger in 2022 with transformative ideas, big and small. About our February 10th, 2022 session Our keynote speaker this month is Paul O'Brien. Long time Silicon Valley technology and startup veteran, Paul O’Brien works in Venture Capital Economic Development, serving the investment and venture capital economies directly, through thought leadership, consulting, and startup development. He’s the founder of MediaTech Ventures, a founder and managing director of Funded House, and Director in Founder Institute. Our highlighted program this month is Center of Excellence for Community Health and Economic Resiliency Research (CHERR). Due to the rise in castastrophic environmental and population health events occuring around the world and the heavy effect it's had on the well-being and quality of life for Texans, CHERR's work on fostering knowledge and skills needed to help communities prepare, adapt, and recover from public health emergencies and natural disasters has never been more important. Our highlighted initiative are sustainable energy solutions for smart cities featuring ClearWorld, LLC. ClearWorld harnesses the cleanest, most abundant renewable energy source available—solar energy—to provide outdoor lighting that preserves resources, requires no moving parts, and is virtually maintenance-free. Efficient, reliable systems and services that reduce the costs associated with the traditional utility light pole, from monthly energy bills to maintenance fees are imperative.
