Join us for an intimate conversation with filmmaker and "hope advocate" Marcia Kimpton - award winning director/actress and producer. Marcia has traveled the world working on her latest TV series - "An American Abroad" - a native of Wilmette, she is a mental health advocate, encouraging people to share resources, and create in a nurturing and creative community to get the help they need while following their dreams. Having lost her brother to suicide, Marcia donates a portion of her film sales to Onemind.org for brain health research. A special screening of 1 hour of her 5 part TV series "An American in Amsterdam" will follow the interview, and Q and A. Marcia is also an author of a memoir "Escaping the Hollywood Bardo." Hosted by Jenniffer Weigel Jenniffer is an Emmy award winning broadcast journalist. She’s written four humorous books about spirituality and hosts the popular podcast “the Jen Weigel Show”. Madame Zuzu’s is a local plant-based teashop in Highland Park, Illinois, owned and operated by musician Billy Corgan, founder of the grammy-winning Smashing Pumpkins, and fashion designer Chloe Mendel. Madame Zuzu's combines insanely delicious plant-based foods, rare teas of the world, and an open source venue for the arts.
