Clay Howell is the Director of Development of The Blood & Tissue Center Foundation at BioBridge Global, a San Antonio-based nonprofit that includes subsidiaries - South Texas Blood & Tissue Center, QualTex Laboratories and GenCure. In this role, he oversees financial and organizational support for BioBridge Global and its subsidiaries.
BioBridge Global is more than just the region’s blood bank. We are more than 614 employees in South Texas and Georgia, focused on saving and enhancing lives through the healing power of human cells and tissue, offering diverse services in regenerative medicine, blood resource management and biologic testing. The Blood & Tissue Center Foundation advocates for community awareness and develops financial and other resources in support of BioBridge Global and its subsidiaries.
Since moving to San Antonio in 1997, Clay has worked in the nonprofit arena dedicated to improving economic development, public safety and individual and community health. Previous posts include the American Red Cross and American Cancer Society. He is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt and member of The Health Cell, Planned Giving Council of San Antonio, Association of Fundraising Professionals, and active with the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. Clay is a graduate of Texas A&M University. Whoop!
