It's Shrimp Feast time! It's been two years since we've been able to hold our popular Shrimp Feast so we're excited to bring it back. We'll feature our usual shrimp dishes prepared a variety of ways as well as BBQ for your enjoyment with beer, wine, and soft drinks. Gather with friends in our beautiful museum gardens while enjoying great food and music. Tickets will be limited this year! Museum Members get first dibs as member tickets are available now! If we have any tickets left, sales will open to the public ($40 each) on April 1st. No tickets will be sold at the door.

The Sumter County Museum preserves, interprets, and promotes the historical and cultural heritage of Old Sumter District through the operation of a historic site that provides tours, collection and conservation of artifacts, exhibits, and educational programs for the public. The museum consists of the Williams Brice House (1916 historic home), the Heritage Education Center, Carolina Backcountry Homestead, and the Temple Sinai Jewish History Center.
