The American Welding Society is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to advance the science of welding and to promote careers in welding. The LA/Inland Empire Section sponsors welding educational programs and scholarships for the benefit of all students, individuals, and companies with an interest in the science and profession of welding.  Every year, the Section organizes a Student & Professional Welding Competition along with a Career & Vendor Fair. This event draws over 100 attendees, with approximately 50-60 competitors.
