Please join the Health Care Collaborative of Rural Missouri/Live Well Community Health Centers, Santa Fe Agri-Leaders, and First Call KC. Please join the HCC Network, Santa Fe Agri-Leaders, and First Call KC for a Youth Mental Health First Aid class. Minimum participants is 15 and maximum is 25. A light dinner will be served. There is no cost to attend, but you must pre-register. You must attend both nights of the workshop. Times are from 5-8 pm on March 22 & 24 from 5-8 pm. Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to adolescents (ages 12-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care. They are also the first Health Network in the country to own and operate their own Federally Qualified Health Centers. The Live Well Community Health Centers are located in Concordia, Waverly, Carrollton, Independence, and Buckner. They offer primary care, dental, and behavioral health services at each location. The Santa Fe Agri-Leaders is a grassroots agriculture organization dedicated to the leadership and education of Missouri's farm families. They are dedicated to helping the future of agriculture. They deliver interesting and relevant information through agricultural classes taught by leading ag industry and academic professionals. They offer regional educational outreaches, community development, and community service. First Call is a Network Member of HCC and provides clinical, educational, and prevention services to individuals and families impacted by substance use disorders. Their prevention and recovery services impact over 60,000 individuals each year. Their services include prevention and treatment programs.
