The School of Architecture welcomes you to Cosanti to help us celebrate 90 years of experimental architecture. Building on Frank Lloyd Wright’s designs and thoughts, The School is a graduate program in architecture that teaches and practices learning by doing, new ways of looking, an ability to honor and build with the landscape, and experimentation. We learn how to serve our diverse communities by making our environment more sustainable, open to all, and beautiful. The School has recently relocated to the Cosanti campus in Paradise Valley, Arizona, facilities owned and operated by the Cosanti Foundation. The location was designed for the learning and practice of architecture, with spaces and studios for learning and project work along with generous outdoor space for experimental building and construction. Living and working in Wright’s historic buildings has always been a primary learning experience for our students and this immersive form of education will continue at Cosanti including the School's hallmark Desert Shelter Program.
