I've got an opening for an extra horse. Would prefer help cleaning pens/ pastures in exchange for reduced board. Depending on how many days a week someone can cover chores and how much the horse eats, ball park board would be $300-$500. The right fit in horse and person is the most important, so if this peaks anyone's interest, let's chat. We're super low key, try to let horses be horses, and are looking for dependable reliable help. Located on the top of Hollywood Hill, 5 min east of Woodinville. 15 min ride to the Tolt pipeline, trails, and the Hollywood Hill Saddle Club where various competitions are hosted and guests have full use of the facility the rest of the time. It's a relatively small property but we make the most of it by keeping things tidy. 12x12 stalls, 24/7 access to freshly graveled large pens (no mud), individual pasture turnout for at least a large chunk of the day or 24/7, depending on mud management. Secure hog panel perimeter and 3 string 2" Horse Guard hot tape cross fencing. New 70x90 outdoor sand arena with 5' Nobel panel fencing. I also use bale nets so horses have 24/7 access to forage and their weight is easily managed by adjustingthe mesh size. Tested low NSC 2nd cutting orchard grass, owner provided daily supplements. Stock tank heaters over winter. Small individual tack/ storage area. Lit barn and paddocks.
