The Memphis Heritage Trail Trailblazer Awards program is on February 28, 2022, at the Halloran Centre. The Memphis Heritage Trail Trailblazer Awards program is on February 28, 2022, at the Halloran Centre. The reception starts at 4:30 p.m., and the program begins promptly at 5:30 p.m. The City of Memphis and the Division of Housing and Community Development will honor individuals and organizations innovative contributions to underserved populations through intellectual courage, written and verbal communications, business, or creativity in the arts. The honorees include Roshun Austin, Carolyn Michael Banks, Paula Casey,  Dr. Charles Champion, Collage Dance Collective, Facing History and Ourselves, Marlon Foster, Self Tucker Architects, and Archie Willis. This event is free and open to the public.  There is limited capacity for this event .
