FLOWER HILL, NY — A pedestrian was hospitalized Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle on Northern Boulevard, authorities said. It happened around 7:20 p.m. in the Flower Hill neighborhood. Nassau County police say a 65-year-old man was struck on Northern Boulevard, near Middle Neck Road, by a 76-year-old man traveling east in a 2019 BMW. The driver remained at the scene. The unidentified male pedestrian suffered multiple injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He is in stable condition, according to police. An investigation is underway.
