Description
WAKEFIELD, MA — The town has recently started a way for local teens to help senior citizens shovel their way out of snow.
The Wakefield Snow Angels Shoveling Program is being run by the Wakefield Youth Council in partnership with the Council on Aging.
Young people interesting in volunteering can visit the Youth Council's Facebook or Instagram page for more information, or email [email protected]. If senior citizens are interested in benefitting from the program, they can call the Council on Aging at 781-245-3112.
"The more volunteers who sign up, the more help this program will provide to the senior community of Wakefield!" a press release said.
