STONEHAM, MA — Bridge work will keep the left lane of I-93 closed near Route 28 until late Thursday night. The temporary lane closure, which is taking place near Exit 26 in Stoneham, will be in place through 11 p.m, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation said. It was supposed to only be from 12:30 p.m.-3 p.m. The work is for bridge repairs. Drivers are asked to drive slower and use caution in the work zone. Delays should be expected.
