This course is a 2.5-day event that will focus on the SQFI Code Edition 9.0 for "Food Manufacturing" (Modules # 2 and # 11) and "Quality"
This Vincit Group-sponsored SQF course will focus on the implementation of the SQFI Code Edition 9.0 for "Food Manufacturing" (Modules # 2 and # 11) and the SQFI "Quality" code. Specifically, the "Food Manufacturing" part of the course will cover every element within Module # 2 (Food Safety/ HACCP- "Say what you do") and Module # 11 (GMP - "Do what you say"), which is directly applicable for fifteen (15) Food Sector Categories and indirectly applicable for ten (10) others. The course is designed, through practical examples and from an auditor's viewpoint, to answer all your questions about the "intent" of every element and "where" that element wants you to go. This course, covering food safety manufacturing and quality, will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the codes and will result in a certificate being presented to the participants upon completion of the course.
This course will be followed by an optional ½ day workshop on Sanitation and Chemicals, taught by Katie Walker, Food Safety Technical Director – QSI/ZEE, on Thursday afternoon.
About your trainer:
Alan Baumfalk has years of practical experience in R&D, QA/QC, Technical Sales, and Sales Management. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Poultry/ Meat Science and a Masters Degree in Food Science and has audited several GFSI Schemes (SQF, FSSC 22000, and BRC). To date, Alan has conducted hundreds of audits and was presented the 2018 Global SQF "Auditor of the Year" Quality Achievement Award.
