Edison Mall provides unique, sensory-friendly experience for children with special needs. Easter is a time of renewal, joy and it also presents amazing opportunities for families to create heartfelt memories. Easter in particular gives the gift of experiencing the priceless joy and rebirth that spring and the Easter Bunny brings. Understanding that children with sensory sensitivities may require a more customized experience, Edison Mall will offer Sensitive Bunny®, a sensory-friendly holiday event, April 3rd from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. During Sensitive Bunny, families will have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny prior to the mall opening for a quieter, more subdued experience with the opportunity to support Autism Speaks. This family-friendly event allows children with special needs to experience the annual rebirth of Spring and fuzzy warmth of the Easter Bunny. Sensory bins will be available as well as some crafts and coloring pages to help with wait times. Upon arrival, please come to the registration table to receive your number for the time slot you requested. Please note, to make this as seamless a process as possible, please arrive at the start of your scheduled time (i.e. 9:45 - 10, please arrive by 9:45) Edison Mall is Southwest Florida’s only enclosed and climate-controlled shopping destination serving the Greater Fort Myers and Naples area. The town center is home to more than 160 national and local retail, dining and entertainment options, as well as numerous events and activities throughout the year.
