KCBA 2022 (early) Law Day Lunch Presentation: Race and Juries For our early Law Day celebration, we are thrilled to host Catherine Grosso and Barbara O’Brien, who are professors at the Michigan State University College of Law. Their current work explores issues related to race and jury selection. With jury trials starting back up after long delays due to Covid, the topics of jury selection and juror participation are ripe for discussion. Join Professors Grosso and O’Brien as they share their research on race and juries and outline possible reforms that could help expand diversity in jury participation. This event is co-sponsored by the Kalamazoo County Bar Association, Kalamazoo County Trial Lawyers Association, and the Judge Charles A. Pratt Bar Association.
