We are a family-owned and operated e-commerce company based in Erie, Colorado that has shown 30% annual growth for 10 years straight. We have just completed construction of a significant expansion of our warehouse, and we are actively growing our shipping & receiving department with high-caliber, positive individuals that are ready to play a role on a winning team. We are currently looking to hire one individual to work with our shipping & receiving department. This position will entail carefully packaging and shipping valuable home electronics. High spatial intelligence, attention to detail and a strong back are pre-requisites for this job. You will need to meticulously follow established instructions for packaging and ask questions when exceptions to our established rules arise. We are a high-volume, online business. The position will require you to handle heavy, valuable and fragile items with extreme care. A working knowledge of home audio products is a huge plus. Required Skills: Technology - Basic computer and typing skills required Adaptive - the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies is a must. We are a growing, evolving business where the only constant is change. Organization - Developing and maintaining consistent methods and routines in order to ensure quality and accuracy. Written communication - must be able to write descriptive sentences with good spelling and grammar. Must be able to communicate in writing with other employees using internal instant messaging Spacial Intelligence - You should enjoy working with your hands and solving different physical problems each day. We sell pre-owned gear, so it this is different than your average "shipping" role. Each item is unique. Many of them do not have packaging. We have to create it.
