12 year old female Beagle. Spayed and no known health problems. Friendly. Sedentary. Elderly owner just hospitalized with heart attack and pneumonia and congestive heart failure is unable to care for the dog any longer. Annual check ups and shots were maintained until fall 2021, when we were unable to get an appointment. So she is about 4 months overdue for shots. Monthly flea and heart worm treatment have been provided. Her two problem areas are that she loves to run if she gets out the door and she loves to chew on pillow and blankets. She is an inside dog. She will bark at a stranger at the door but is calm in about 30 seconds. She likes children and lived happily with another dog for many years. She likes to eat and sleep and be loved.
