Press release from the City of College Park : February 10, 2022 FYI from MDOT SHA (2/9/22): The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is assisting the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) with traffic control for repairs to a broken watermain on US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) in Prince George's County. The repairs require the closure of the second northbound lane on US 1 from Pontiac Street to Quebec Street in College Park. Repairs are expected to continue through the weekend, but there is no estimated time for the lane closure.
