Description
I am 50 years old, and I play drums and I am putting together a Rock Cover-Band, with like minded people who want to keep playing. I have been in and out of bands my entire life and I just want to keep playing with other people. You do not need to be a professional musician, you just have to want to devote some time to get together a couple times a week, you should like 80's-90's Rock music (see bands below), and you should want to play with other like minded people (be close to my age). I would like to someday play in front of people again, but lets get together and jam, before we plan out the future. I live in the Huntsville/Madison area, so you should as well. If this sounds like what you are looking for, shoot me an email, and then we can talk about things, then hopefully meet up to jam and see if we like what we hear. One important thing I have to mention, because of past experiences...please do not be dependent on any substance that you mother would not approve of and have something else to occupy your time outside of this project. This should be secondary to things, like your job, family...stuff like that. Looking forward to hearing from you!
This is where I am starting, I am looking for the following:
Vocalist
Rhythm guitarist
Lead guitarist,
Bass guitarist
maybe someone good on the keyboard?
Bands that I am looking to cover are as follows, but not they are not limited to:
AC/DC, Aerosmith, Alice in Chains, Bad Company, Black Sabbath, Boston, Bush, The Clash, Foo Fighters, Georgia Satellites, Jet, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, Lenny Kravitz, Metallica, Motley Crue, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Offspring, The Police, Pretenders, Queen, Rage Against the Machine, Ramones, Rob Zombie, Rod Stewart, Rolling Stones, Seven Mary Three, Sponge, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Stone Temple Pilots, Sublime, The Temperance Movement, Theory of a Deadman, Tom Petty, Van Halen, Weezer, ZZ Top. (Again, not all inclusive)
