Press release from the City of Arcadia December 03, 2020 Governor Gavin Newsom announced a new regional stay-at-home order blueprint that automatically goes into effect when hospital ICU capacity drops below 15%. The orders will be in effect for three weeks. Projections show that Southern California is expected to fall below 15% capacity in early December. The state has been divided into five regions, with one region encompassing all Southern California counties, including: Imperial, Inyo, Los Angeles, Mono, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties. When a region is placed under an order, these sectors will be closed: Bars Wineries Personal services Hair salons/barbershops Sectors that will remain open include: Schools that have received a waiver Critical infrastructure Retail at 20% capacity Restaurants (take-out and delivery) Further, all non-essential travel is temporarily restricted when regions are placed under a regional stay-at-home order.This information is developing.
