FREEHOLD, NJ — A Freehold Township man pleaded guilty to one count of second degree endangering the welfare of a child on Monday, Feb. 9, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office (MCPO).
Acting Prosecutor Lori Linskey, made the announcement after John V. Catalano confessed to his role in distributing child sexual abuse content in the year 2019.
Catalano was first indicted on Sept. 9, 2019 for the distribution of over 25 images of child pornography along with, "One count of third degree endangering the welfare of a child for possession of child pornography," according to a MCPO statement.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 13, 2022, and the case will be presented before Judge O'Malley.
