Press release from the Syracuse City School District: November 10 2020 As of November 9, 2020, the Syracuse City School District is part of a COVID -19 "Yellow Zone," as identified by Governor Cuomo. We are now required to have 20% of our students and staff tested for COVID-19 on a weekly basis in order to keep schools open for in-person learning. The test is called BinaxNOW, and is a nasal swab that produces results in approximately 15 minutes.All parents/guardians are asked to complete this survey, indicating whether or not you consent for your child to be tested. Testing would be free and would occur approximately once a month if you were to consent.Surveys must be completed by the end of the day Thursday, November 12, 2020.
