Press release from the Syracuse City School District: November 30 2020 As previously reported, the City of Syracuse and all of our schools except Roberts PK-8 and Corcoran High School are in the New York State Orange Zone. After further communication with staff from New York State, Onondaga County and the City of Syracuse, all schools in the Syracuse City School District including Corcoran and Roberts will be remote for the week of November 30th-December 4th. All students and staff scheduled for in person learning, must still be tested in order to return to school. The schools previously scheduled for testing tomorrow, Monday, November 30th will not test tomorrow but will be scheduled for testing later in the week. Everyone must pre-register for testing through the link provided by your principal. If you have already registered, you do not need to register again.Students can be tested at any of our schools throughout the week. If you have tested positive in the last 90 days, you do not need to be re-tested this week. The testing locations are below: Tuesday, December 1st Dr. Weeks, McKinley Brighton, Meachem, Salem Hyde, Van Duyn, Ed Smith, H. W. Smith and Huntington Thursday, December 3rd Elmcrest, Frazer, Oasis, ELMS, Syracuse Latin, Clary, Brighton Academy and Grant Friday, December 4th Lincoln, STEAM @ Blodgett, Henninger, ITC, Nottingham, PFLA and PSLA @ Fowler This press release was produced by the Syracuse City School District.
