Job Description: Supervisors are responsible for managing and directing officers on a designated shift and ensuring the safety and security of the campus community. This supervisor will work second and third shifts. Base hourly rate: $16.50/hr. plus shift differential: $0.50/hr. for 2nd shift $2.00/hr. for 3rd shift Apply online: http://immaculata.interviewexc...  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain safety and security of the University community.Inform the Director/Assistant Director of any significant activities/information occurring on assigned shift.Ensure appropriate information is passed on to other supervisors and subsequent shifts.Review reports of assigned duty personnel to ensure accuracy and completeness.Allocate on duty personnel based on current needs.Ensure assignments are completed and that all calls for service are answered promptly and professionally.Prepare daily written reports as required.Provide timely training to keep subordinates current with changes in techniques, equipment, policy and procedures.Take command of major incidents.Investigate incidents and/or assists officers in the investigation.Monitor fire alarms, security cameras, and access control systems.Receive requests and complaints from the Immaculata University community and provide information/assistance as required.Enforce federal, state and campus policies and regulations.Patrol campus property to deter and prevent crime and accidents. Conduct building security checks.Liaison with police officers and emergency responders regarding on-campus incidents.Perform other duties as assigned by Director/Assistant Director of Campus Safety and Protection. Requirements: Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma or GEDA clean criminal historyA valid driver's license with safe driving recordGood reading and report writing skillsStrong interpersonal and communications skillsAbility to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsAbility to obtain CPR and First Aid training Ability to use a computer Preferred Requirements: Although prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred, appropriate customer service skills and an ability to learn the duties of the position will be considered. Supervisory experience is also preferred. Additional Information: Background check required after a conditional job offer is made.
