Look at that big smile! During the intake Romeo was playful and was wagging his tail. You see, this boy is just a puppy and has a lot of energy, He loves to play with the leash as if play tug with a toy. He seems to treat the leash as a toy, but he drops the leash when he finds another toy. He gets very excited to go outside and tends to get jumpy in his kennel when he thinks it’s his turn to finally get some outside time. He loves playing with the ball in the shelter yard and seeks attention and pets from the handler. One of his favorite activities is playing fetch. He knows some commands like ‘sit’, ‘shake’, and ‘down’. He is highly motivated to do things For treats which is great for training. He hasn’t met any dogs while in the shelter so he will need to be safely kept separate or be the only pet in the home. He would thrive in a loving adult where he could frolic in the yard and play fetch.
