Very Lovable Rottweiler

Very sweet 2 yr old neutered male Rottweiler in need of good forever home. Original owner was a disabled friend in wheelchair and dog was heartbroken when he passed away. We rescued him when we found that he was staying w/ people who did not really want him. He is a very gentle hearted dog who we’ve found to be well behaved if someone is with him, but he does suffer somewhat from separation anxiety & might need to be crated if left alone. (He is used to that & is comfortable w/ it.) Otherwise, he is generally very happy just to lay at the feet of someone who loves him, as long as he can go out into fenced yard & run off some of his rambunctious energy occasionally. He is smart, eager to learn, and also a good watchdog & protective. He gets along fine with men or women, but gets jealous when we pay attention to our other dogs, so he would definitely do best without any other pets to compete with. (Not aggressive towards our other dogs, but he just uses his larger size to constantly insert himself in between us and them lol) Would love to keep him if we could, but just not enough room in our small house with our 2 other dogs. Would not be good w/ children, as he was never around any & seems scared of them (and potentially aggressive around them.) He will absolutely need a secure fenced yard to be able to run in to burn off some of his energy. We will be insisting on a $150 re-homing fee to assure us that he is going to go to someone who is serious about providing him a good home. We have no doubt that he will be a loyal and wonderful pet for the right person!
