We are currently hiring for Laborers in our excavation department. This is a full time position with pay ranging from $20-26/hr DOE. We offer great benefits as well: • Competitive wages • Health, Dental, and Vision benefits • PTO benefits • Retirement options • Overtime opportunities • Typically a 5 day work week/ 8 hour shift Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED The laborer performs a variety of manual laborer tasks following simple routine instruction. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Uses hand tools, and other construction equipment to dig assigned area. Assist in grade and staking of projects. Cuts brush and trees and other areas as assigned; load trucks with garbage to be taken to the dump, sweeps, washes, grease and cleans equipment. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: -Fluent in English, good grammar and arithmetic - Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instruction - Ability to read and write legibly - Ability to plan work and carry through to completion without close supervision - Ability to maintain effective working relationships - High degree of initiative and dependability Education and Experience: High School diploma, or equivalent to.
