SUMMARY
Organic, Living Soils, OLCC Cannabis Farm SEEKS Seasonal Labor. OLCC licensed cannabis farm is seeking seasonal workers to join our team for the 2022 season, estimated through November. All workers are W2 employees and will be guaranteed a minimum of 24 hours a week throughout the season, although full-time work is available during specific times of the year
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following is a summary of the essential functions for this entry-level job. Other Duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. A Seasonal Laborer will be able to perform the following duties:
Work with all cultivars (annual and perennial);
work with various hand tools;
amend soil, help identify pest;
assist with irrigation issues and maintenance;
harvest - take down and trimming;
plant manicuring from fresh to dried;
apply organic spray(s);
work Greenhouse environment;
maintain an organized and clean environment;
preform general farm maintenance including working with animals and fire prevention activities;
perform other various farm duties
QUALIFICATIONS
Be 21 years of age
Lift 50 pounds
Comfortable on a ladder
Effective at long hours on a single task
Have reliable transportation
Willing and able to arrive and be ready to work by 6:30am in the summer or work evening shifts until 9pm and weekends if needed during harvest season.
Able to take and follow direction even if it conflicts with own opinion
Be responsible, dedicated to the success of the farm
Acquire OLCC workers permit prior to beginning work
Able to perform monotonous tasks for long hours and for days on end
Note: Sunna Ra Acres is a part of the Sun Breeze Inc seed-to-sale company which includes organic herbal manufacturing facilities in Central Point Oregon and retail stores throughout the Rouge Valley. Additional job opportunities may exist within the company as new positions become available.
