Looking for a New Painter/Handyman to Bid Jobs Starting Now If you are a painter or a handyman that is ready to work, we would like to speak to you! Please respond by email or text. Painter Job Responsibilities: • Applies various finishes to buildings, rooms, or other structures, including primers or sealers. • Prepares, cleans, and tapes all jobsites. • Smooth and prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and removing old paint. • Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty, plaster, or other filler. • Tape, float, and texture walls and ceilings. • Select premixed paints or mix required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint to match specified colors. • Moves necessary materials around jobsite and covers exposed objects and surfaces. • Cleans up worksite debris. Painter Qualifications/Skills: • Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating • Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines • Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety • Ability to perform simple repairs such as soffits or trim as required to produce a finished product Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: • 2 plus years previous painting experience preferred • Must provide your own tools and transportation • Equipment used typically includes brush, roller, striping machine, taping and masking equipment, spray equipment, sand and water blaster, air compressor, dry wall tools and equipment, hand tools, ladder and/or scaffolding.
