Summary: Accurately transact and physically move raw materials to and from the Stockroom. Maintain an accurate accounting of inventory within the Stockroom. Locate stock and deliver items to their destination based upon customer needs. Complete component preparation per IPC standards prior to kit release as required. Perform basic job setup and teardown functions in support of surface mount machine technology. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Support Manufacturing Work Cells by pulling / setting up kits, preparing components, creating labels and filling kit shortages and floor shortages as required. • Fill material requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers. • Ensure that all documents (Pick Sheets, Load Lists, Miscellaneous Issues and Incoming Travelers) are properly filled out. • Pick parts, prepare and set up material in accordance with Company/Customer specifications and procedures. • Support daily cycle counts as needed. • Enter daily inventory transactions into Epicor ERP system. • Identify and resolve inventory issues. • Participate in Physical Inventory preparations, inventory counts, projects. • Perform tape and reel activities as required. • Participate in labeling activities. • Perform general housekeeping duties in Stockroom. • Support 6S activities. • Perform other duties as assigned. Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Ability to read and interpret procedures and work instructions. • Knowledge of IPC DVD-64-C (component identification) and IPC-A-610 work standards. • Ability to read and use a component meter. • Basic computer skills. • Strong math skills. • Ability to lift/carry minimum of 20 lbs; ability to sit, stand, bend, push, lift/carry during an 8 hour shift. • Must be a team player and be highly motivated. • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency; ability to meet deadlines. Experience/Education: • High School diploma or GED. • 1-3 years experience in a warehouse or contract electronics manufacturing environment preferred.
