APPLY HERE: Based upon sustained volume and growing demand, Homesight Home Inspection Services is in need of contract inspectors to perform home inspections in the Greater Orlando area. Home Inspector Job Summary Homesight is seeking licensed, experienced, and reliable Home Inspectors. Candidates must understand how to examine a property for damage, hazards, and other current or potential problems which may affect the new homeowner. Inspectors must also be experienced in evaluating all major home systems, such as electrical outlets, plumbing pipes, and appliances, including the water heater. They will conduct inspections of both the interior and exterior of the property and document their observations by taking pictures and making note of any issues or potential problems. They will report their findings both on site to the attendees of the inspection and through written report within 24 hours of the inspection. Duties and Responsibilities Examine the exterior, interior of a residential structure and all its components for damage or potential risks Take clear photos of each area of the property Document findings clearly Communicate clearly and professionally with all parties in the transaction Complete a timely a report in alignment with Florida State Home Inspector Standards APPLY HERE: Requirements and Qualifications Dress and act professionally and have a clean appearance Active Florida home inspector’s license in good standing Inspectors will provide their own, computer, software and other inspection tools Willing and able to work in hazardous weather conditions, climb on rooftops and into small crawl spaces, and stand for extended periods Valid Florida State Driver's License and reliable transportation Confidence, exceptional communication, and strong customer service skills Proficient with basic computer skills and related technology including phones, digital cameras, downloading photos onto a computer, scanning documents, and uploading photos Independent contractors receive a 1099 tax form each year and are responsible for their own taxes Benefits Tax Benefits: 1099 Independent Contract, Home office, Mileage & Vehicle Depreciation, Equipment, Supplies, Apps like MileIQ &Trip Log, Mapping Software, Tolls, gate fees & parking fees.
