Did you know AZ has a State national guard? https://dema.az.gov This National Guard could be used to protect the AZ border. Would you volunteer - you have to be between 18-45? Or, would you serve if paid? I'm just doing a survey to see if there is interest in this. Its in the law but not talked about much.
