GO Box designs, builds, and operates circular, zero-waste reuse systems that eliminate the harmful environmental, social, and economic impacts of single-use products. We are currently focusing on addressing single-use waste resulting from to-go food and drink by providing professionally clean and sanitized reusable containers and cups as a service to foodservice establishments and takeout customers. We are a quickly growing start-up looking to rapidly scale our service this year and make a positive impact on the world. Our light-filled warehouse is located in inner SE Portland and our team likes to work hard and have fun. We are currently seeking to fill multiple Production Specialist positions who will be part of a team processing reusable products through our wash, sanitize and dry cycle to prepare them for reuse. This is a critical role in the day-to-day operations that will contribute to the overall success of our service. This position is based out of the GO Box HQ located in inner southeast Portland. Job Type: Full and Part-Time Positions Available (15-40 hours per week) Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour, payable weekly. Available Shifts: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm. Primary Responsibilities: Process reusable food containers, coffee cups, glass bottles, gel packs and other reusable products through our wash, sanitize and drying process, and repackage products for distribution Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized workspace, assist in daily cleaning responsibilities to include sweeping, moping, and cleaning surfaces. Main equipment used is a commercial sink and dishwasher, hand carts and pallet jack Preferred Skills: - Must be able to work well with as part of a team - Ability to communicate clearly, read/write/record data and perform simple mathematical calculations - Reliable; consistently at work and on time - Observes and follows proper safety procedures; willingness to report potentially unsafe conditions - Forklift certification helpful but not necessary
