Warehouse Worker, Warehouse Team Member, Warehouse Assistant, Warehouse Laborer Job Description: The Warehouse worker is responsible for the day to day operations of SCA’s warehouse, logistics, all inventory, inventory documentation, receiving, and shipping of client inventory as well as production, preparation, and equipment repair. This relates to all equipment, including workstations, servers, printers, and any client specific hardware. Basic Functions: Completes shipments by processing and loading orders. Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Provides quality service by following organization standards. Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Completes reports by entering required information. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Ability to communicate effectively. Escalate operations or logistics issues that cannot be completed within desired performance levels. Anticipate and communicate to leadership required stock to order to accomplish production and shipping needs on a weekly/monthly/6-month basis. Maintain specific knowledge of client equipment, client shipping expectations, and equipment configuration requirements prior to shipment. Document and maintain internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities. Responsible for entering time and expenses in PSA as they occur. Account for all time, billable and non-billable time thru ticketing system. Develop in-depth knowledge of the SCA's service catalog and how it relates to client’s needs. Remain up to date with current and future operational and production technologies emerging in the industry. Improve client service, perception, and satisfaction. Perform all work and make all decision based on SCA's core values and Count on Us philosophy Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required: Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer-care. Operational planning, task organization, and workload balancing for a small team. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly. Service awareness of client IT services for which equipment is being configured and supported. Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
