This position requires working in all zones (Dry, Cooler, Freezer), flexibility in job duties and scheduling, ability to work in a team setting, and the ability to prioritize work and responsibilities Responsibilities Accurately receive inbound freight utilizing an RF based Warehouse Management system Accurately record code date, lot numbers, manufacturing numbers, etc. as required. Put away product in correct temperature zones using a pallet jack or forklift. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and safely operate all mechanical equipment. Collaborate on receipts with carrier or supplier variances and inventory discrepancy investigations relating to receipt variances. Assists in the orderly maintenance & general housekeeping of the warehouse. Responsible for maintaining and recording temperature, with a thermometer, of all inbound product. Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work a flexible schedule Prior receiving experience preferred Manhattan and SAP experienced preferred PIT certified on Fork/Clamp truck and Power Jack preferred Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all areas of work Ability to work in various temperature environments About NDCP NDCP is an award-winning leader in providing the foodservice industry with sourcing and distribution services.
