The Estimator/Support Technician is an important position on the team at SSC.  We are looking for a multi-talented leader to work with our team to take projects from start to finish.  The perfect candidate will use their mind to work up comprehensive quotes for our customers and also not be afraid to get their hands dirty to deliver for our customers and the SSC team. Services we provide ·         Sealcoating ·         Crackfilling ·         Paving ·         Concrete Daily work - Organize daily, weekly and monthly workload to maximize efficiency. - Drive responsibly and complete 15-25 residential estimates a day. Residential estimates are in house leads generated by SSC and are covered under regular wages. - Be able to visualize the scope of work, walk varying job sites, measure accurately, calculated square footage and enter precise details into estimating software. - Track and follow up with estimates performed. - Work with our Field Technicians to learn our installation processes and support them when necessary. An Estimator personifies our values and philosophy every day with our team, clients, subcontractors and vendors - Must have the desire to listen, learn, and apply with a positive attitude and team mentality. - Ability to be self-sufficient and productive. - Highly motivated and able to multi-task simultaneously in fast paced environment. - Clean and presentable appearance. - Valid Drivers License and the ability to qualify for our insurance providers underwriting procedures to drive a company vehicle. - Possess basic math skills. - Ability to walk driveways and parking lots to measure and analyze the conditions. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Enter Field Addendums into estimating software. - Support and help coordinate the back office activity. - Some experience in general construction for the ability to make small repairs for customers on the spot. - Top off with fuel, turn in paperwork to office, clean service vehicle and prepares for next day’s activity. - Maintains clean, neat, and professional image of company vehicle. - Able to operate a smart phone, take digital photos, send and receive emails. - Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. - Customer focused. Compensation Job Type: Full time Compensation: $20-$25 per hour based on qualifications.
