**LAZ Parking Details** Position: Garage Ambassador Location: Downtown Tucson Hours: Part-time hours, Monday-Friday shifts with weekends off! Pay Rate: $14.00/hour Total Compensation: $200 Sign on bonus, $100 Referral Bonus! LAZ Parking Benefits: Benefits begin the 1st of the month following employees start date. The Spirit of the Position: The Garage Ambassador will uphold the company mission statement while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients. This garage ambassador will greet the public in a manner consistent with the LAZ Way, serving as a representative displaying honesty, integrity, accountability, and teamwork which includes excellent communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Bring a friendly and enthusiastic attitude to work while assisting customers and the public. Communicate in a friendly manner with the public and assist with payment and instructions for retaining the ticket for after hour use. Report concerns or needs to direct supervisor and only to a property management if directly asked or in the case of an emergency. Be in correct LAZ Parking uniform, on time, and ready to work when scheduled. Work with and without supervision and follow directions of supervisors when requests are made. Keep parking location clean. Pick up miscellaneous trash. Inform all people loitering to move off property or call non-emergency number for police support. Report graffiti or vandalism. Make sure there are no tripping hazards in the garage. Fill out all required paperwork daily. SKILLS: Customer Service Skills Display/ or put forth a positive and friendly attitude Willingness to do whatever is needed to make the garage successful EXPERIENCE: Ability to be approachable. Strong customer service skills and abilities. Ability to mitigate and lead others to overcome challenges (Never Ever Give Up Attitude). Ability to work independently and multi-task. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization and outside customers and clientele. Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Reliable transportation to and from job site(s) is necessary. Name tag must be always present. No cell phone use on site, including text messaging. No smoking on site. No headphones or ear pieces allowed while on shift. No sitting in car on site. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing and walking long periods (95 to 100% of the time) Lifting and moving parking equipment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
