SYOSSET, NY — A Jeep hit a parked car in Syosset over the weekend, sending the car 25 feet onto a neighbor's lawn, and the Jeep overturned, trapping the driver. The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday on Colony Lane, officials said. The Syosset Volunteer Fire Department and Nassau County police were called to the wreck. Crews with Engine 585 used a windshield saw to remove the windshield, officials said. The driver was taken to a police ambulance for evaluation.
