SYOSSET, NY — A sedan flipped and landed on its roof Sunday night on the Northern State Parkway, leaving the driver hurt. The single-car crash happened around 8 p.m. Sunday on the westbound lanes of the parkway, near South Oyster Bay Road. The driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, officials told Patch. Traffic slowed to a crawl for about 30 minutes.
