Marine Technician: Oyster River Boatyard has an immediate opening for a full time year / round mechanic. We are a well established business with a waterfront location on the lower Cape and are growing our long term customer base with new boat sales and the popularity of boating! Ideal candidates should possess marine mechanic experience on both 2-stroke and 4-stroke outboard engines. A strong knowledge of boat systems – electrical, mechanical, & hydraulic is also helpful. Job responsibilities will encompass spring rigging and boat commissioning, diagnostic work and associated repairs as they arise, routine maintenance service, and winterizations of boat and engine systems + new engine re-powers and new engine PDI's. We are an authorized Yamaha service facility and continued training is available on-line and in-classroom annually at Yamaha's facility.
