The legendary Willy Kelly performs with Cafe Daze for one-night only in Downtown Belfast. Willy Kelly and Cafe Daze appearing LIVE on Colonial Theatre’s fabulous Dreamland Stage in Downtown Belfast on Saturday, February 26th at 7 p.m. A Singer/Songwriter, a Maine-based musician for decades, Kelly has played the East Coast from Maine to Florida sharing shows with the likes of Taj Mahal and David Bromberg. Along with Kelly performing on guitar and harmonica: the core membership of Cafe Daze includes Joe Allard (bass & guitar) and Jeff Densmore (percussion). All three talented musicians are known for playing in several midcoast Maine bands including Blue Northern, The Searsmont Street Band and the Street III band. As an Acoustic-oriented vocal group with intricate harmonies and arrangements that draw from genres including R&B, folk, and blues–Cafe Daze songs aim to shine a light on love, loss, and the people we share the world with. Covid mitigation protocols will be followed. These include: masking, proof of vaccination to attend, and limited occupancy. The Colonial’s festive Tiki Bar will be open for this event. As a bonus, special guest Ando Anderson plans to take the stage for a few songs, too! So, mark your calendars for February 26 at 7:00. Doors open at 6:30.
